What is Web Hosting?
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their own website accessible via the World Wide Web.
Can I host multiple domains/websites on my hosting accounts?
You can host 1 main domain and multiple sub domains and domain alias's depending your hosting plan.
Will I be able to SSH or RDP into my Shared and will I have root access?
No, with shared hosting you will receive a web based Control Panel to manage your website including ftp account as well.
Is there a monthly contract?
No, All Web Hosting plans are month-2-month unless you have signed up for a longer term to receive the discounted rate. In the unlikely scenario if you decide to cancel before the term is completed
then all discounts will fall away and you will be charged full monthly price for the months you have hosted with us and remaining funds will be refunded to your account.
How long does it take to activate Web Hosting?
Once we receive the order and payment, we activate within 24 hours on weekdays. Usually its much less than 24 hours though.
Is there a trial period or money-back guarantee?
Our Web Hosting Plans come with no questions asked 30 day money back guarantee.
Will you upload and setup my website for me?
We provide our customers with world class control panels to manage most common tasks and our technicians will guide you step by step on how to upload and setup your website hassle free.
What if I want you to upload and setup my website and database?
Although we provide all the tools to our customers to do this but in case you still would like our techs to do this then we will gladly do it for you if the website is provided in a workable format/condition
You will be charged at a rate of R350 per hour with first 15 minutes being free of charge.
Can I upgrade my Web Hosting Plan at a later stage?
Yes, you can upgrade at any stage. You will be billed for full amount for upgrade price but will be given credit for the un-used portion of the older package. This credit is not applicable to downgrades.
Is there a discount on Web Hosting?
Yes, Paradigm Solution offers 2 months free for all yearly advanced payments. Pay for 10 months of service, and receive 2 months free. This discount may not be applicable to special offers and/or custom quoted solutions.
How am I billed?
You can check your invoices by logging in Client Portal. Paradigm Solutions will also email you an invoice usually few days before the renewal date but there is no guarantee that email will reach you successfully due to the nature of spam or other issues.
Please make sure the payment proof is received atleast 4 days before the renewal date as it takes few days to apply payment.
This will make sure service interruption is avoided.
Will my Web Hosting Plan be suspended if payment is delayed?
Due to the nature of the service Web Hosting Plans are suspended after due date and removed if payment is not received after 3 days of your invoice due date. We do not offer any backups on suspended and terminated accounts.
So it is imperative that payments are made well in advance to avoid any confusion.
What if the hardware fails?
Paradigm Solution Partners stocks replacement parts for all servers.
Repairs of all failed hardware promptly, to minimize any downtime caused by such.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. All costs are stated plainly on our website. We do not hide fees in fine print, or in our terms of service pages.
The only costs that are commonly found to occur beyond your expected flat monthly rates per service,
are those due to increased package features or bandwidth usage or any maintenance work you require our techs to do on your behalf
We charge at a rate of R350 per hour although if a task can be completed within first 15 minutes we do not charge. Customers are charged minimum for an hours work if it goes beyond the 15 minute mark.

Can I have adult content on my Web Hosting plans?
No.
Who is responsible for my backups?
We do perform daily/weekly/monthly on-server and off site backups on most of our servers but we cannot guarantee that your data will be restored from backups in case of data loss in anyway. Therefore its recommended that every customer maintains their own regular backups.
What if my site breaks your "acceptable usage policy" rules?
Users' sites may be suspended for violations of policy, or if extreme, or second time offenders, sites may be cancelled. Each occurrence is dealt with on a case by case basis, and we try to work things out with every client. we will try our best to send Notifications of violation if Paradigm Solutions takes any action on your account but in certain cases we cannot guarantee that we will notify customers before suspending the accounts.
How is extra bandwidth billed?
Bandwidth is billed per Gigabyte (GB) over your monthly allocation, rounded up to the nearest Gigabyte. Allocations are currently calculated based on the 50/50=100 calculation method. For example, a 2000GB allocation would allow 1000GB of inbound (downstream) AND 1000GB of outbound (upstream) bandwidth. This calculation method is subject to change with 30 days notice to clients. Utilization is based upon MRTG stats taken directly from the managed switch port a server is plugged into. Usually between the 3rd and 5th of the month you will receive your bandwidth overage billing, if applicable, for the preceding month's usage. If bandwidth overage billing occurs more than 30 days past the end of the period being billed for, client is permitted the same amount of time to pay the bill.
How can I cancel and whats the cancellation procedure?
We require at least 30 days cancellation notice and pro-rata charges will be charged from the date when the following cancellation form is completed.
